Signature Style

Nicky is a British artist and designer whose work has a soft, blended style that typically begins with a simple pencil drawing. Sometimes her art will remain in soft, neutral tones or she will color her work using paints, ink, markers or digital illustration techniques.

Nicky is especially fond of drawing animals and loves to portray their innocence and beauty in a whimsical yet sincere way. She proudly supports animal charities such as The Humane Society and ASPCA.

An Artist at Heart

Nicky's love for art began when she was young but developed while she was studying for her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design. After working for some years in the field, Nicky began to illustrate baby animals after a friend asked her to draw a baby bunny for a nursery. The little bunny sketch became the foundation for what has become a growing line of work for nurseries and children's rooms. She has gone on to sell her prints worldwide and her work can be found in some large retail stores throughout the United States.

Originally from England, Nicky currently lives near Chicago with her husband, two grown up daughters and an incredibly spoiled cat.
