In the Press...

Very excited to have been featured in an article by Denise Baran-Unland for The Herald-News titled, "A home business so strong, even Amazon took note" on Friday, March 23, 2018.

Excerpt:

"PLAINFIELD – Nicky Scott sells art for nurseries with over 500 designs for the choosing.

Scott's work is available on Etsy, Amazon Handmade and through her Studio Q Facebook page. It's a chance hobby that's turned into a full-time job – and then some, with Scott still in awe that it happened.

The entire process is completely customer-driven, Scott, of Plainfield, said.

"I was amazed, I was shocked that so many people responded so well to my art," Scott said.

"My customers are amazing."

How did it happen?

Well, Scott has always loved art. As a child, she drew whimsical animals; as an adult, she sketched portraits – all for fun.

"I never showed anyone my work," Scott said."
